Reunification therapy is a specialized form of family therapy designed to help repair and rebuild the relationship between two individuals within a family system who have become disconnected or estranged. This estrangement may occur for a variety of reasons, including—but not limited to—parental separation or divorce, prolonged conflict, emotional or physical distance, or significant life events that have led to a breakdown in communication and trust.
